Creating Cumulative Totals
Here's how to update a SAS data set to include cumulative totals for a numeric variable.In this example, he goal is to create a new variable ("sumT") that is a cumulative total of the variable tsippT:

Did you mean to write:
if first.pulldate then sumT = 0;
I am new to SAS, but I do not think first.count will never equal 1 since it is not in the by statement.
I just tried this syntax and it did not work. It gave me the same numbers for each variable
